Before we get into that though, let's just take a minute, check this out, and make sure it's even gonna work for you. So with this kit, it's primary function is to kind of fill in that gap on some of the parts and pieces that you'll need to install a trailer brake controller. So on these Wrangler Unlimited, some of 'em will have a factory tow package plug, meaning you'll have a factory 7-way already back here. And if you're trying to do a brake controller, that's good news for you because there'll be a plug under the dash you can kind of just plug into. more

Now this is going to be a great option for you if you find yourself running out of space in the back of your Cadillac, whether you have a lot of people back there or you already have a lot of stuff in there. Taking a closer look at them, we're going to have this weather strip at the top and that's going to help protect your T-channel. It's going to help reduce that wind noise and keep any of that debris out of there. And at the very edge, we're going to have this anchor point. Demco SBS Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Wire Kit Installation - 2021 Ford Escape- Video
Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2021 Ford Escape, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Demco Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Line Kit. Whenever you're flat towing your vehicle down the road, what can happen is your battery can get depleted. All right And that's because some of the systems on the vehicle are using battery power. A lot of stuff is electronic nowadays and is very voltage sensitive and the braking systems, whenever those are being turned on and you're hitting your brakes, those are also using battery power, so what can happen over time is the battery get depleted and eventually run flat and then you got kind of a headache on your hands, right And so that's where a charge line kit like this one here is going to come into play. What'll happen is it'll use auxiliary power from your motorhome 7-way, send that amperage back and essentially trickle charge or maintain your Escape's battery. more

The Yakima JetStream are aluminum heavy-duty crossbars. These guys are gonna hold up to 165 pounds. However, you definitely wanna make sure you check your vehicle for what the weight rating is for your roof. These guys have a channel on the inside here that allows you to use T-tracks. That's 3/8 inch wide. more

If you're looking for a roof rack system that can allow you to carry all kinds of things, whether it's extra long ladders or expand your cargo space with a roof box, a roof basket, or carry on kayaks or bikes on your roof, well, a roof rack system like our Yakima here is gonna be a great way to go. Now I currently have the extra long crossbar version with the 60 inch bars, but the recommended fit is the 50 inch bars. It's gonna look and work almost the exact same way. This is the one with the 50 inch long crossbars, but we offer a kit here at etrailer with a 60 inch long crossbar. But the beauty of these Yakima bars is that they have a continuous channel on the underside. So in theory, you could get an even longer bar if you wanted. I don't know that I would. more

Hi, John with etrailer. If you have a coach with air brakes and you're looking to flat tow your truck and you're looking for a supplemental braking system, then look no further. This is the Air Force One Supplemental Braking System second vehicle kit that we installed on our 2023 Ford F-150. Now keep in mind this is gonna be the second vehicle kit. This is not the full Air Force One kit that you would need if you wanted to start flat towing these two, this is gonna assume that you already have your coach equipped with the flat tow side, the Air Force One side and the cord leading up to the truck. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Furion Chill HE replacement air distribution box on a 2002 freight liner XE Motor Home. This distribution box is specifically designed for the Chill HE. It does work with a few different models of Furion AC unit. This was a great addition for our Furion Chill HE AC unit that we put on here because the air distribution box allows us to get just some new hardware in there, make sure that it's nice and sealed up, but also it allowed us to bolt up directly to the AC unit where the factory one that we had in here previous wasn't going to line up. Now a few different features on here, you do have two different vents that you can adjust. So if you close this up and you have a ducted system, it's gonna push that air through the AC vents on the ceiling. more

Demco SBS Wireless Coachlink Installation - 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at installing the Demco Wireless Coachlink on a 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500. So the reason we're gonna be installing the Wireless Coachlink is when our neighbor installed their Stay In Play Duo, they went with a kit that has the LED lights for the indicator, which is a fine way to indicate that the brakes are being applied. So we had that installed on our rear view mirror. You can see when I pressed the brake, that is gonna light up. And that's not a bad solution. more

Something I do wanna mention, the motor home side-only kit, does not come included with the air hose that goes from the back of your coach to the front of your towed vehicle. more

So these extensions are gonna have a 45 degree bend in them to kind of put them in a more favorable angle here, and they are designed for the front tire. So just keep that in mind when you're picking this out. They've got a couple that have more extreme bends for the rear tires. more

Fortunately, you do have these raised rails on your SUV, which makes it a lot easier to find a roof rack as well as install the roof rack. Now for the Yakima Roof Rack, this is gonna be one of your more premium options. We have extra stability, there's an extra way to tighten it down, but I think it's great because it looks a lot more low profile compared to some other brands, but there are some downsides to this specific fit too. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the ETBC7 Brake Controller Wiring Kit on a 2023 Hyundai Palisade. Now if you plan on pulling a trailer with brakes, you're gonna wanna pick up a brake controller for your vehicle. And in order to get that on your Palisade, unless you have that factory tow package, you're gonna need a seven-pole and that way you can get your brake function, and that's what the ETBC7 kit offers. It plugs into a factory four-pole or a four-pole wiring that you've installed previous. So if you don't have that, you are gonna need to pick that up. more

Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect Installation - 2020 GMC Yukon XL- Video
Hi, John with etrailer. If you're looking to flat tow your GMC Yukon, there's an item that you need that you may not know that you need, that's gonna be a battery disconnect switch. Well, we installed one today. Roadmaster's battery disconnect switch, and it's on our 2020 GMC Yukon XL. Now of course, in addition to the battery disconnect switch if you are looking to flat tow your Yukon you're gonna need these other components as well. You're gonna need a diode wiring kit, a tow bar, safety cables, a supplemental braking system and then a base plate to hook up to your tow bar here. more

Hi, John with Etrailer. If you need a charge line kit mounted on your RV, then we've got you covered. This is Roadmaster's Battery Charge Line Kit for RVs, and we've installed it on our 2023 Thor Freedom Elite. Now, the kit itself is fairly straightforward and easy to install. What you're looking at here is just gonna be a roll of a 12-gauge wire that you get, and you're gonna have some ring terminals and a 15-amp circuit breaker that we've mounted on the fender well. Now, it goes from the battery here and then from the circuit breaker, back all the way to the rear of our RV. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Hayes Energize III brake controller on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. How a brake controller works is when you have a trailer with electric brakes, this control is gonna send a signal from up here back to your trailer to letting you know to stop. So today we have a proportional one. So how that works is if you press down either light or hard it's gonna match that on your trailer as well. The energize III brake controller is gonna be great for hauling those trailers with one to three axles. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be talking about the Hayes Synchronizer Trailer Brake Controller on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. So what a brake controller does is when you press down on your brakes in your vehicle, this is gonna send a signal all the way back to your trailer that has electric brakes on it, then press its brakes. Now, today, we have a time delayed one, so that's not gonna be like our proportional brake controllers. How it differs is a proportional brake controller, when you press down on the brakes, if you press down hard, it's gonna press down hard on your trailer's, and if you press down light, it's gonna press down light on your trailer brakes. While this is gonna work a little bit differently, and it's not gonna provide you as smooth of a ride. more

Today, we have a 2004 Fleetwood Motorhome and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Mount-n-Lock HEAVY-HAUL'R Replacement RV Bumper. And one of the biggest reasons why you would wanna replace your standard RV bumper with the Mount-n-Lock bumper is because the Mount-n-Lock bumper is gonna have a weight capacity. It's gonna have a max weight capacity of 500 pounds. Your typical RV bumpers are not going to have weight capacity, and typically the way that they're mounted up, they're mounted up to the back of the frames of your RV with a tiny little pinch weld, and they're not really designed to haul anything, other than maybe your sewer hose in the end. We're gonna take a look at how it fits on the 2018 Ford Escape. If you're looking for a roof rack system, because you wanna carry around accessories like kayaks or baskets or even roof-mounted bike racks, this is gonna be a very strong and sturdy system. Comparing it with some others though, you do have one more adjustment point compared to other racks, it might take a little bit longer, but not that much. Look, if you're ready to flat tow your Chevy or if you're just looking for a little bit more security then take a look at Roadmasters Remote Battery Disconnect Switch that we've installed on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71. Now I do wanna let you know right off the bat that if you have a diesel engine this disconnect's not gonna work for you. Those engines have too much of a startup amp surge with them.
